July Update
What does FREEDOM look like to you? This month our theme at Catalyst Ministries is FREEDOM! We know that for the women we are helping on their journey to restoration at Catalyst Farms, freedom is especially precious. For a victim of human trafficking, there is no freedom. In most cases, they cannot choose where they go, what or if they eat, what they wear, when they sleep or how they spend their time.
When a woman walks through the doors of our Restoration Home, we want them to feel the freedom and love of Christ, through the people who are there to help them. Where God’s Spirit is there is freedom. 2 Corinthians says this:
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.”
When HE takes up residency in any of our hearts, we find ourselves becoming more and more free. We desire this to be one of the wonderful results of our ministry at Catalyst.

We take comfort in the assurance of God’s Word, as he promises us also that:
“So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.“ (John 8:36)
As we’ve looked for ways to share some of the distinctives of Catalyst Ministries, we’ve created the Catalyst Ministries Manifesto. We’re sharing with you here, for the first time below.
This July, we wish you all Freedom, as we celebrate as a country together the birth of our independence and as we celebrate at Catalyst Ministries the beauty of the freedom available to all of us!
With you, for FREEDOM,
Julie
Catalyst Ministries Manifesto
What We Believe
We believe that Jesus is the Catalyst and apart from him, we can do nothing (John 15).
We believe every person has value and is worth fighting for.
We believe it matters to enthusiastically work alongside each other and our local community to see life transformation for the women we serve.
What We Do
We help those often considered “the least of these” through work in three areas:
1. RAISE AWARENESS
We educate and engage the local community to understand the realities of human trafficking and sexual exploitation and to help strengthen, support, and advocate for the vulnerable.
2. RESCUE
We partner with individuals, local churches, organizations, and law enforcement to reach and rescue those who have been oppressed.
3. RESTORATION
We work locally to provide a residential community for women in recovering from sex trafficking, exploitation, and extreme abuse. This Restorative Home where our residential program takes place is called Catalyst Farms. By faith, we plan to open a second home soon that will serve as a Transition Home for women who have graduated from Catalyst Farms. An array of Christ-centered support services are provided to foster healing, recovery, and an opportunity to begin a new life.
