August Update From Julie
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.“ (1 Corinthians 2:9)
God has more good in mind for us than we can see, hear or even imagine! What a hope and promise this scripture holds for us.
I hope your summer has been one of hope and some realized dreams, but even if it hasn’t, He has good things ahead for His children. I’m glad His promises and plans aren’t dependent on our experiences and feelings. They’re rock solid, unchanging, immovable. Glory to God!
We started our summer with some hopes of our own—for establishing a second Restoration Home in the southern region of the country. With Dallas, Texas being our most recently established location, we’ve prayed and planned for Catalyst Ranch to be “planted” in this land. We’ve asked you to pray, believe with us and give generously, and some of you have done this with some exciting results! Thank you so much for helping us to raise $190,000 this summer through our Matched Giving Campaign for Catalyst Ranch! What a huge blessing for Catalyst Ministries! What a Mighty God we serve! We’ll be sharing more details in the coming months about what’s ahead!
We ask that you continue your prayers and giving as we step into new possibilities for seeing more women restored and healed! There’s much hope and good news ahead for the precious women we serve and we want YOU to be a part of this life changing ministry and work.
Please join us for our upcoming Be A Catalyst Dinner on September 15th in Bloomington, IL. You’ll hear more about our strategic work among survivors of human trafficking and have opportunities to be involved and engage with us. The venue this year is new and we think you’ll love it! Find out more and get tickets here.
As the fall will bring a change in weather, we have a few changes in our team at Catalyst Ministries. Darcie Kiper, who has served with Catalyst over the past 3 years, will transition out in August. We say a big Thank You to Darcie for all your valuable work and important involvement! Abby Larsen, who has served with Catalyst over the past 2 ½ years is also transitioning out in August. We say a big Thank you also to Abby for your great work and all you’ve done!
We welcome Nancy Bollegar as our new Area Director for the Bloomington location and are looking forward to all that God has ahead together! We know you will give important leadership, insight and encouragement to our Team!
As we see miracles taking place in the lives of our residents, we know without a doubt that God is at work in our midst! It’s a JOY to work together side by side in this life changing work!
With you on this Journey!
