Our theme this month is "Friendship with God". What a difference it makes in life, an organization, or ministry when Friendship with God is seen for its amazing and rich treasure. When we say that Jesus is the Catalyst, within Catalyst Ministries, we mean that he is the most important one and brings transformation to the women we serve. His leadership, guidance, and presence are the fuel and light of our work.
Judges 6:12
The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said “Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!”
What matters most is that we know that “the Lord is with us”. Without this, we have nothing.
This month, we want to say a special thank you to those who regularly pray for Catalyst Ministries. In the past two weeks, some have mentioned that they pray for Catalyst Ministries every day. We are humbled and so grateful for this! We do need your prayers for our residents, staff, volunteers, families, and more. Thank you, again!
If any of you aren’t sure what we mean by “Friendship with God” or how to begin such a relationship, please reach out to us and we’ll happily point you to resources and information that will help you understand this. Our hearts desire that all will enter into this kind of amazing relationship with him.
Rich blessings to you!
Julie
P.S.
Interesting Fact: It's worth noting that the survivors of human trafficking who receive help in our Restoration Homes usually don't live in the same cities where our homes are located. More often than not, they are living across the country or in some cases outside the country. Sometimes being in a program like Catalyst Ministries in the town where women were exploited can bring many “triggers” and fears that are avoided when they travel far from that place of the trauma. When you support Catalyst Ministries, you support survivors from all over the country, since we are a national ministry. Thank you again, for your strong support!
